Post-bombings, festival comes back

THE BOSTON GLOBE - Boston International Film Festival executive director Patrick Jerome is pleased with this year’s program. But Jerome says that being able to present the festival at all is “a miracle.”

Last year, just two days into a 10-day program, the Boston Marathon bombings occurred, sending the entire event into a tailspin (the show went on when possible, but often without the anticipated guests or crowds).
