An unknown actor Semechkin wakes up in a morgue after a car accident. He is forcibly left in the hospital for examination. Due to the accident, Semechkin missed auditions for a part that would have made him famous. His agent manages to find Semechkin a new promising part, but a new problem arises: Semechkin has already been entered into the database as a dead person.
